FAQs
Can I Bring my own livestock?
YES! All youth participants are encouraged to bring either a goat, lamb, hog, steer, heifer, or dairy steer to work with throughout the entire day. Instructional lessons will be paired with hands-on application time for fitting and livestock handling/showmanship.
Am I Required to Bring my own Livestock?
No, it is not required that participants bring their livestock to the event. There will be many lessons and opportunities for learning for all participants. We will encourage youth to pair up with those that do bring their livestock so all can experience hands-on opportunities throughout the day.
